About
Krafton is a South Korean conglomerate specialized in video games, created in 2018 and established as a holding company to manage PUBG's profitability. During its IPO in 2021, its valuation was $19.32 billion. Krafton owns numerous development studios around the world and invests significantly in artificial intelligence and deep learning. Its main games are "PUBG: Battlegrounds", the cult battle royale that shaped the genre, "Subnautica" (by Unknown Worlds), the acclaimed underwater exploration game, the space-horror attempt "The Callisto Protocol" (Striking Distance Studios). The studio is also developing "inZOI", a next-generation life simulator currently in early access, expected in full release in 2026.
