About

ZDT Studio is an independent video game development studio based in Paris, whose founders are veterans of animated film and special effects. This studio aims to produce immersive experiences that combine animated cinema with innovative gameplay.

The first project is Darwin's Paradox, a platform, adventure and stealth game that offers you the chance to play as an ingenious octopus named Darwin. Its existence was officially revealed at the PlayStation State of Play in February 2025. Published by Konami, the title will release on April 2, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Strongly influenced by the productions of Playdead and Tarsier Studios, it plays on a subtle blend of humor, puzzles and gameplay mechanics inspired by cephalopods, all built using Unreal Engine 5.
