Supergiant Games is an independent studio based in San Francisco and founded in 2009 by several former EA employees. Renowned for its distinctive artistic approach and bold storytelling, the studio has chosen to build small creative teams that work without compromise.
Among its iconic titles are "Bastion" (2011) with its hand-painted design and tone-breaking narration, but above all "Hades" (2020) which reinvented the roguelike with its dynamic narrative structure, the studio sweeping up several prestigious Game of the Year titles. "Transistor" (2014), meanwhile, offers a poetic cyberpunk journey combining action and strategy.
Supergiant Games is also known for its excellent soundtracks composed by Darren Korb, as well as for its unique visual worlds.
