Hades
Hades is a roguelike series developed by Supergiant Games. The first installment (2020) tells the story of Zagreus, the son of Hades, who seeks to escape the Greek Underworld. Blending frenetic action, a brilliantly written narrative, and mythology, the title garnered numerous awards at video game shows.
Hades II focuses on Melinoe, Zagreus' sister, on her mission to defeat Chronos. It follows in the worthy (and divine) footsteps of its predecessor with its enduring progression system, its rich dialogue, its splendid art direction, and its captivating music orchestrated by Darren Korb.
