Founded in 2023 in Guildford by a team of veterans from Criterion Games, the producers of Need for Speed and Burnout, Fuse Games makes its grand debut with Star Wars: Galactic Racer. Led by Matt Webster, the studio brings together renowned talents from the United Kingdom and the rest of the world for this premium AAA title, developed in partnership with Lucasfilm Games. This bold racer-arena, unveiled in late 2025 at the Game Awards, is planned for 2026. The adventure follows Shade, a pilot thirsty for glory in the chaotic Outer Rim of the New Republic, in a splendid full solo campaign, and in PvP multiplayer with up to 12 players.
