Coffee Stain Studios

About

Coffee Stain Studios is a Swedish video game development studio founded in 2010 in Skövde. It made a name for itself through original creations blending offbeat humor and innovative gameplay. Acquired in 2018 by THQ Nordic, Coffee Stain has nevertheless retained its creative independence. Among its flagship titles are "Goat Simulator" (2014), a quirky goat simulator that became globally viral, "Satisfactory", a fairly popular open-world factory game, and "Sanctum", a mix of tower defense and FPS. The studio also has a publishing division, Coffee Stain Publishing, which supports other independent developers, such as the creators of "Valheim" and "Deep Rock Galactic".
