CIRCLEfromDOT is a young South Korean independent development studio that recently made a name for itself on the international scene thanks to Kusan: City of Wolves, a fast-paced top-down shooter published by PQube. It was founded by a small team from the local indie scene that made a name for itself with its openly displayed blend of several rhythmic influences like Hotline Miami, with an airy pixel art style, backed by a narrative that draws as much from comic books (manga) as from Western comics. CIRCLEfromDOT claims, with Kusan, a « gameplay first » approach, with a punishing combat system, a clear readability and a generous feel, built around precise enemy patterns and polished animations.
