About
Arkane Studios, a French developer founded in 1999 in Lyon by Raphaël Colantonio (formerly of Electronic Arts), was acquired in 2010 by ZeniMax Media, and has established itself as a global reference for its immersive games with a crafted feel. Arkane also had a studio in Austin which was closed in 2024, it employs about 150 people. Its essential creations include "Dishonored" (2012), a steampunk stealth game acclaimed by critics and named "Game of the Year", "Prey" (2017), an immersive space simulation developed by Arkane Austin, and "Deathloop" (2021), a bold time-looping shooter awarded on multiple occasions. The studio is currently developing "Marvel's Blade", a mature third-person game set in Paris.
