Amazon Game Studios

Amazon Game Studios is Amazon's development studio, created in 2012 in Seattle and comprising several subsidiaries, including Relentless Studios, Amazon Games Orange County (formerly Double Helix Games), as well as offices in San Diego and Bucharest. Although the studio experienced difficult beginnings with several cancelled projects, it has now established itself in the MMO sector. Among its main projects are "New World" (2021), a medieval-fantasy MMORPG from Amazon Games Orange County, "Lost Ark" (2022), a Korean action-RPG published in the West by Amazon, and "Throne and Liberty" (2024), a free-to-play MMORPG developed by NCSoft. The studio is also developing "Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis", a remake using Unreal Engine 5 slated for 2026.
