Zynga is an American video game developer and publisher founded in 2007. Situated in the social and mobile games sector, it contributed to the birth of gaming on social networks, notably Facebook, before taking the lead in the mobile market with its essential titles such as: - "FarmVille" (2010): the very first social game position on Facebook, it reached millions of players, becoming a true global cultural phenomenon. - "Words With Friends": a multiplayer word game inspired by Scrabble on mobile. - "Zynga Poker": the most downloaded online poker app, gathering a very large community of players. Zynga was bought in 2022 by Take-Two Interactive for 12.7 billion dollars.
