Take-Two Interactive is an American video game company founded in 1993 and based in New York, one of the most powerful in the industry. It owns prestigious studios such as Rockstar Games and 2K Games, and focuses on large-scale AAA productions.
Among its iconic franchises are "Grand Theft Auto", notably with the worldwide success of "GTA V", the "NBA 2K" series, the flagship basketball simulation developed every year, and "Civilization", the famous turn-based strategy game series.
Take-Two also owns the "Red Dead Redemption", "BioShock" and "Borderlands" licenses. The company recently acquired Zynga in 2022, boosting its presence in the mobile gaming sector and consolidating its status as a giant of the video game industry.
