About Valorant
Valorant is a competitive first-person tactical shooter developed and published by Riot Games. Two teams of five players face off in 5v5 matches, each player controlling an “Agent” with unique abilities. The main mode revolves around planting and defusing a bomb (the Spike), in the style of Counter-Strike, but with a meta-game layer brought by the Agents' abilities. Released on June 2, 2020 on PC after a long closed beta phase, Valorant is available for free and serves as the platform for official worldwide competition (Valorant Champions Tour, VCT). The game was ported to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2024.
