Sliding 64

Sliding 64 is a block-merging puzzle game developed and published by Negatek, an independent studio for whom it marks a debut title. The game is available for free on iOS, macOS and Android.

On a 5×5 grid, each swipe slides the entire board rather than a single block. Blocks of matching value that collide merge following powers of two, up to ★64, a golden block that crowns the chain. Creating this block isn't enough, though: it must then be escorted to an exit gate located on the right edge of the board, which awards 1,000 points and frees up space on a grid that fills up with every move.

The title embraces the pure score-attack format: no levels, no energy gauge, no progression to unlock. It offers a real-time global leaderboard as well as private tournaments with limited durations, from one hour to one month, joined via a shared code. The game works offline, weighs around fifteen megabytes, is available in fourteen languages and includes a colorblind mode.
