HYPERWIRED

HYPERWIRED revisits the space action roguelike with a rather peculiar twist: your ship never moves without its power cable. In this top-down shooter, every run must pass through points of interest scattered across the arena to recharge weapons and systems, at the cost of suddenly reduced mobility and a constant risk of overheating. On one side, jittery zero-gravity dashes, on the other, tense « camping » while waves of enemies close in. More than a dozen playable ships with very different abilities and special shots encourage experimentation run after run. Between devastating mega-lasers, rescued allies who join you in formation, and upgrades to discover, HYPERWIRED calls for controlled and readable chaos, during short, intense sessions that are extremely replayable.
