The Witcher

The Witcher is an action role-playing game franchise developed by CD Projekt Red, adapted from the dark fantasy novels of Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. The series mainly follows Geralt of Rivia, a mutant witcher monster hunter paid to defeat the creatures inhabiting a continent ravaged by war, racism and political intrigue.

The Witcher 1 sets the stage for an absorbing RPG, centered on morally ambiguous choices. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings refines the political writing and branching structure, with entire acts transformed depending on the player's decision. In 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt propelled the saga into legend thanks to a colossal open world inspired by Slavic folklore, mature storytelling, unforgettable side quests, and two massive expansions.
