In 2004, Capcom launched what is now an iconic franchise, Monster Hunter, in which the player takes on the role of a hunter facing titanic creatures in spectacular environments. The gameplay relies on observation, strategy and mastery of a wide range of weapons.
The main series thus includes Monster Hunter: World (2018), Rise (2021), as well as the very latest Monster Hunter Wilds (2025), while the spin-off Monster Hunter Stories is a turn-based RPG where players must raise monsters rather than hunt them down.
With its demanding mechanics and cooperative aspect, the franchise has become a global benchmark for action-RPGs.
