Rhythm Heaven, or Rhythm Paradise in Europe, is a rhythm game saga created by Nintendo, in collaboration with composer Tsunku and the studio TNX Music Recordings. Originally released on Game Boy Advance as Rhythm Tengoku in 2006 in Japan, the series truly entered the international scene with Rhythm Heaven on Nintendo DS, followed by Rhythm Heaven Fever on Wii and Rhythm Heaven Megamix on Nintendo 3DS.

Long remaining a « cult » series rather than a mainstream one, the franchise has managed to leave its mark on rhythm games through its demanding nature and its approach relying more on the ear than on visual cues, influencing numerous indie rhythm games. On Nintendo Switch, Rhythm Heaven Groove modernizes the formula with its 80 games, its multiplayer, and a presentation that makes clear just how immediately recognizable this atypical saga's identity is.
