Dave the Diver is a video game franchise focused on adventure, management and cooking, produced by the Korean studio MINTROCKET. Driven by the rise of an independent game that became surprisingly cult, the universe features Dave, an epicurean diver in charge of the dual task of exploring the « Blue Hole », before managing, at night, alongside chef Bancho, a sushi restaurant. Given the success of this license, it was only logical to make a sequel: Bancho the Chef, a prequel focused on Bancho's youth, set 19 years before the events of the original game. This new episode focuses on culinary simulation, role-playing, and adventure across distant lands, following the chef's journey to discover authentic recipes and new cooking techniques.
