Windrose Crew, an independent studio located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is made up of a group of video game enthusiasts presenting their first title on Steam. Formerly called Crosswind Crew, it underwent a name change in November 2025.
Released in early access, Windrose, their baby, is an open-world horror and pirate survival game. Within a modestly sized unit, the project exceeded expectations by racking up more than a million and a half wishlists on its Steam page before the title's release. Windrose combines survival mechanics inspired by Valheim with souls-lite combat, solo or up to 4 in co-op.
