Team Cherry, a small independent Australian studio founded in 2014 in Adelaide by three friends (Ari Gibson, William Pellen and Jack Vine), had the opportunity to become known worldwide thanks to its distinctive art style and attention to detail. "Hollow Knight" (2017), their first game, has become a pillar of the metroidvania genre, celebrated for its dark and poetic atmosphere, its difficulty and its entirely hand-drawn 2D art direction. Its success was such that a free and ambitious DLC was later released. The studio has just released "Hollow Knight: Silksong", a highly anticipated sequel centered on the character Hornet, which has sparked genuine excitement within the indie gaming community.
