About

Red Raketa Studio is an independent video game development studio from the city of Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. It made a name for itself with Kalanoro, an action-platformer inspired, both in its design, art direction and writing, by Malagasy folklore. Founded in the early 2020s as part of local initiatives to support digital creation, the studio is part of the Ony project, designed to support video game creation talent in the country. Red Raketa is working on Kalanoro, an isometric 3D action-platformer in third-person view, blending exploration, combat and music, a title considered one of the first Malagasy games for a grand release on PC and consoles. It enjoys significant international support, notably through partnerships with the publisher New Tales.
