Paralives Studio is an independent Canadian studio founded by game designer Alex Massé, a longtime industry veteran who worked for a long time on mobile and PC games before launching his own project. Specialized in life simulations, the studio took off with Paralives, a « dollhouse sim » designed as a flexible alternative to the heavyweights in the field. Largely funded through Patreon and supported by a very active community on Discord and social media, the studio has gradually grown to about fifteen developers specialized in systemic game design, creation tools, and animation.
