About

Massive Entertainment is a Swedish video game development studio, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Malmö. Acquired by Ubisoft in 2008, the studio has become, over 15 years of activity, a major player in the industry, recognized for its technical know-how and mastery of the Snowdrop engine. Among its iconic titles are "Tom Clancy's The Division" (2016) and "The Division 2" (2019), online third-person shooter games that redefined the genre with their post-apocalyptic vision of New York and Washington. More recently, "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" (2023) demonstrated the studio's ability to design immersive and visually stunning open worlds.
