Limbic Entertainment is a German studio founded in 2001, based in Waiblingen, near Stuttgart. The studio has built a solid reputation in strategy and management, notably thanks to the Tropico series (episodes 5 and 6), where it took over the torch after Haemimont Games.
The studio is also known for Might & Magic Heroes VII (2015), developed for Ubisoft, as well as for The Settlers: New Allies (2023), a city builder with revised-down ambitions after a long and chaotic development period. Varied titles, diverse fortunes - Limbic is not a studio that sticks to a single formula.
Their next project is Corsair Cove, a pirate city builder published by Hooded Horse, planned for July 31, 2026 on Steam. The game relies on construction on steep terrain and complex production chains - a direction that fits well with the studio's strategic DNA.
