Kairosoft
About
Founded in 1996 in Tokyo, the studio Kairosoft has forged a singular reputation in the video game world, operating almost exclusively in simulation games with a retro pixel art style. Long focused on the Japanese mobile market, the company began to make a name for itself internationally starting in 2010 thanks to titles like Game Dev Story, Hot Springs Story or Grand Prix Story, available on iOS and Android. Building on this experience, Kairosoft has applied its formula to a multitude of themes (amusement park management, school academy management with Pocket Academy, heroic village with Dungeon Village), while gradually expanding its catalog to PC and consoles, notably via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
