ION LANDS is an independent game development studio based in Berlin, Germany. Founded and led by Marko Dieckmann, the studio is an international independent game development structure with its own artistic signature: a dense, atmospheric and urban cyberpunk universe.
The studio's first game, Cloudpunk (2020), established its reputation, thanks in particular to its neon-retrofuturistic atmosphere as well as the street-level narration in the city of Nivalis; an expansion, City of Ghosts, would complete the experience the same year. ION LANDS has been working since 2021 on a game in development, Nivalis Nights (formerly Nivalis), a cyberpunk life simulation that will revisit this universe (it is published by 505 Games).
