Founded in 2011, Guard Crush Games is a French independent development studio that honed its skills on 2D fighting games; it made its name in 2020 with Streets of Rage 4, the long-awaited sequel to SEGA's famous series, which the studio developed with a hand-drawn art style but a modernized traditional gameplay.
Guard Crush Games has also worked on titles such as Streets of Red and continues to develop experiences that pay homage to the golden age 16-bit beat 'em ups while reinventing them for today's taste and full-screen format. A passion for retro gaming, French style!
