Established in 2018, Great Ape Games is an independent studio based in Brighton made up of a small, tight-knit and creative team. The studio made a name for itself with The Lost Wild, a first-person narrative survival game combining exploration, dread, and dinosaurs, designed as an immersive experience that reinvents survival horror with more naturalistic depictions of creatures. Great Ape Games fosters a flexible and inclusive work environment on a human scale, where all profiles are likely to influence game design decisions. With clear ambition and controlled resources, the studio aims to produce productions with strong personality, atmospheric qualities, and calibrated environmental storytelling supported by optimized game systems.
