Deck Nine Games, an American video game development studio located in Westminster, Colorado, was founded in 1997 under the name Idol Minds, before becoming Deck Nine in 2017. The studio turned to developing emotionally rich narrative games with a strong cinematic dimension.
It is primarily known for the "Life is Strange" franchise, including notably "Life is Strange: Before the Storm" (2017), but also "Life is Strange: True Colors" (2021), and "Life is Strange: Double Exposure" (2024).
Deck Nine Games is also credited with collaborating on the development of "The Expanse: A Telltale Series" (2023), and is behind the creation of the StoryForge tool, which facilitates the creation of narrative games.
