About

Cyanide Studio, based in Nanterre, was founded in 2000 by former Ubisoft employees. Acquired by Bigben Interactive in 2018, the studio has, according to available information, between 100 and 200 employees, and has subsidiaries in Bordeaux and Montréal. Cyanide has specialized in sports games and fantasy universes. This has notably allowed it to produce a "Pro Cycling Manager" series (annually since 2001), "Blood Bowl" (an adaptation of the famous board game published by Games Workshop) and "Styx: Master of Shadows" (critically acclaimed for its stealth qualities). The studio has also adapted major licenses such as "Game of Thrones" or "Call of Cthulhu".
