Founded in Croatia in the early 1990s, Croteam is a development studio that has established itself in the European video game landscape. Practicing an almost artisanal approach in its early days, it impressed with Football Glory, before developing a worldwide aura around the Serious Sam series, renowned for its frenetic action, offbeat humor, and battles against entire armies of enemies. Croteam also displayed real technical ambitions with its in-house engines, then with The Talos Principle, the puzzle game series praised for its story and philosophical depth. More recently, the studio continues this legacy with The Talos Principle III, proving that it still knows how to move between hyped-up shooters and intelligent puzzle games.
