About

Founded in Winnipeg, Canada in 2001, Complex Games Inc. established itself as one of the very first video game studios in Manitoba. Until 2015, it was completely dedicated to working under contract for major brands such as Disney, Nickelodeon, Sony, Zynga, etc., before choosing to duplicate these project launches in-house for its own licenses.

It made its mark in the Warhammer 40 000 universe with The Horus Heresy - Drop Assault, then the studio took a step up with the tactical RPG Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, praised for the depth of its combat system. This expertise in turn-based tactical games led Frontier Developments to acquire the studio in 2022 and strengthen Complex Games' positioning in ambitious strategic productions on PC and consoles.
