Black Pony Immersive

Founded in August 2025 in Austin, Texas, and revealed a year later, Black Pony Immersive brings together twenty-six veterans around Harvey Smith, lead designer of the first Deus Ex and creative director of Dishonored 2, and Ben Horne, executive producer. Most of the team comes from Arkane Austin, closed by Microsoft in 2024, with reinforcements from Insomniac, Epic Games, Avalanche, and Volition.

The studio is dedicated to immersive sims: first-person action role-playing games built on systems that react with each other, where the player invents their own solutions. It states it is independently funded and is working on a first solo title, still unnamed.
