Avalanche Software is an American video game development studio, located in Salt Lake City and founded in 1995. It was acquired by Disney in 2005 and then by Warner Bros. Games in 2017, and has left its mark on the industry's history with its original and varied games. It is responsible for titles such as "Disney Infinity" (2013), an innovative toys-to-life game bringing together the Disney, Marvel and Star Wars universes, and "Hogwarts Legacy" (2023), an open-world action-RPG set in the Harry Potter universe, which received a warm reception worldwide. Avalanche Software also developed the "Tak and the Power of Juju" series, which was also very popular on PlayStation and GameCube consoles.
