Altar Games

ALTAR Games, a Czech development studio founded in 1997, is a major player in strategy and science fiction games. Based in the Czech Republic, it enjoyed a certain prestige in the 2000s, before being acquired by Bohemia Interactive Studio in 2010. Altar Games' notable creations include: "Original War" (2001), a real-time strategy game developed for Virgin Interactive, "Fish Fillets" (1998), a puzzle game with an inventive concept featuring a pair of fish, and the "UFO" trilogy: "UFO: Aftermath" (2003), "UFO: Aftershock" (2005) and "UFO: Afterlight" (2007), a post-apocalyptic tactical series praised by fans of management games.
