Spike Chunsoft

Spike Chunsoft is a Japanese video game development and publishing company that was founded in 2012 through the merger of two companies founded in 1984 and 1982, Spike and Chunsoft. Belonging to the Dwango group since 2012, this company specializes in RPGs, visual novels, and narrative games, and is particularly active in adapting anime and manga.

Its catalogue includes numerous creations such as "Danganronpa" (a cult series of visual novels and criminal investigations), "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" (an action-RPG in which the player relives the story of the series), "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" (a roguelike series), "AI: The Somnium Files", and "Zero Escape" (a trilogy of narrative puzzle games). In addition to Asian titles, Spike Chunsoft also publishes Western titles in Japan.
