British outfit built around Luca Galante, the creator of Vampire Survivors. The game was born in 2021 as a solo project released for free on itch.io before becoming one of the biggest indie hits of the decade and lending its name to an entire subgenre. poncle publishes and develops its own titles, without outside investors, and follows a pricing policy that goes against the grain: the base game for under five euros, expansions at one or two euros, and regular free updates.
