The publisher of incremental and idle simulation games Playsaurus, a Californian studio based in San Diego, was born in 2015, founded by Jonathan Tang. It first managed to make a mark with Cookie Clicker, Orteil's legendary title which it would go on to acquire and port to numerous platforms. Success would be renewed in 2016 with Clicker Heroes, an addictive idle game that speaks to browsers and mobiles, before claiming Clicker Heroes II in 2018. It is a formula built on simple yet infinitely replayable mechanics, based on clicking actions that lead toward cosmic automation. Playsaurus finally diversified in 2023 with IdleOn - The Idle MMO, a first hybrid idle/MMORPG game.
