PLAION (formerly known as Koch Media) is an Austrian entertainment company founded in 1994, headquartered in Höfen. It is a global video game publisher and distributor, which owns the Deep Silver label, and distributes multimedia products, mainly in Europe, through both physical and digital channels.
The games developed by its studios include "Dead Island" (2011), a zombie action-survival game, "Metro 2033" (2010) and its sequel, "Metro: Last Light", atmospheric post-apocalyptic first-person shooters, and "Saints Row" (revived series), a wild open-world action game.
