Founded in 2016 to coordinate development and marketing projects for video games set in the Marvel universe, Marvel Games is not a game creation studio, but rather positions itself as a video game publisher that partners with various external developers to create quality interactive gaming experiences.

Among the major games published under the Marvel Games brand are "Marvel's Spider-Man" (2018) developed by Insomniac Games, currently among the biggest commercial successes in the history of superhero games, "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" (2021) by Eidos-Montréal, and "Marvel's Midnight Suns" (2022), a tactical role-playing game developed by Firaxis Games.
