Koei Tecmo

Koei Tecmo Holdings is a Japanese video game development and publishing group born in 2009, following the merger of Koei and Tecmo. Its headquarters are located in Yokohama, and it can rely on several renowned studios such as Team Ninja, Omega Force and Gust. Koei Tecmo is one of the major players in Japanese video games, well established internationally, notably in Europe, America and Asia.

Among its flagship franchises are "Dynasty Warriors" (a historical action game), "Nioh" (an action-RPG whose third instalment, released in 2026, sold over a million copies), "Dead or Alive" (a fighting game), and the "Atelier" series (RPGs developed by the Gust studio).
