DreadXP is an American independent publishing house and label for horror games, born out of the Dread Central community before taking off on its own. The company stands out with its Dread X Collection compilations, true breeding grounds where young creators and veterans of the indie scene rub shoulders, each gathering more or less short but memorable horror creations. The publisher initiates the production (and/or publishing) of ambitious titles, often with a retro PS1-style aesthetic (but also sometimes through the originality of a concept, or a particular approach). The publisher maintains this strategy with Amanda the Adventurer 3, confirming its status as a finder of atypical projects in the horror game market.
