Dovetail Games is a British simulation game developer and publisher based in Chatham (Kent), founded in 2008. The studio specialises in « digital hobbies » and designs authentic simulation experiences for enthusiasts, precisely modelling real-world situations.
The studio employs around 170 people and uses the latest technologies: it develops mainly for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, and uses Unreal Engine 4. In 2023, Dovetail Games was acquired by Focus Entertainment.
Among its flagship titles are "Train Simulator" and "Train Sim World" (railway simulations), "Euro Fishing" and "Fishing Sim World" (fishing simulations).
