Daybreak Game Company

Daybreak Game Company, created under the name Sony Online Entertainment in December 1997, has been an independent company since its acquisition by investor Jason Epstein in 2015. Its headquarters are in San Diego, California. The studio's games are references such as the MMORPGs EverQuest and EverQuest II (developed by Darkpaw Games), or others such as PlanetSide 2 and DC Universe Online (Dimensional Ink Games). Acquired in 2020 by Enad Global 7, Daybreak also manages The Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online via Standing Stone Games, and Palia with Singularity 6. It's an undisputed leader in massively multiplayer games!
