Hellblade
Hellblade is an action-adventure franchise developed by the British studio Ninja Theory, which relies on a cinematic approach and notably addresses mental health. Inaugurated by Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice in 2017, the saga follows Senua, a Pict warrior in the Viking era, engaged in a journey to the borders of Norse hell and her own psychosis.
In 2024, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II continues the formula and pushes it further with an almost photographic rendering and a brutal Iceland that further anchors the franchise's identity as an intense, immersive and introspective experience.
