The Anno series, created by Ubisoft, is a series of strategy and management games, whose first title was released in 1998. Each installment of the game immerses the player in a different historical period: the Renaissance, the industrial era, or a distant future. The game combines city building, complex economic management and maritime trade. Known for its strategic depth and detailed graphics, the game has produced numerous titles: Anno 1404, Anno 1800, or Anno 2070, which appeal to city-builder fans. The latest one focuses on the Roman Empire, Anno 117: Pax Romana.
