Supamonks is a French studio co-founded by former members of the animation and video game industry, based in Bordeaux. The studio made a name for itself through its work on adventure and action-platformer games with a polished visual style, before joining the Absolum adventure alongside Guard Crush Games, the creators of Streets of Rage 4.
On Absolum, Supamonks works in co-development, supporting Guard Crush Games on an ambitious roguelite beat 'em up combining polished animation, fantasy art direction, and demanding combat systems. The studio is currently mobilized on porting and adapting the game to new platforms, notably the iOS/Android mobile version announced for November 2026, as well as the Switch 2 version planned within the year. Its role illustrates an underlying trend: French studios specializing in co-development and technical porting are becoming key partners in extending the lifespan of demanding action games across more platforms.
